ANYTHING AMYESCENCE has EVER done (minus Bring Me to Life, gosh I HATE that song.) P.O.D. - Fundamental Elements or Satellite, either.

The front and back ends of this album are full of treats like that-- circus-trick edits, ultra-modern production, and pure sonic candy. What really makes the record worth it, though, is the way it holds up through its more atmospheric center.

Okay, since Aaron is well into these musical artists discussions series, I've decided that this would be a fitting time to bump the thread. Plus, my collection has pretty much doubled this past year or so (plus my last count was a vague one which left a good number of titles off), so I'm going to repost. Well, as I've said in other forums, I am so obsessed with my DVD and toy collecting that my CD collection is greatly neglected. I don't know exactly how many I have, but probably not much more than I still have as cassettes. In fact, a lot of my favorite stuff I still ONLY have on cassette. To get a great idea of my musical tastes, you'd really have to look at BOTH my CD and cassette collection.

Hopefully, I'll replace all those tapes with discs someday. Anyway, all that having been said, I don't have my CD collection in list form or within view of my computer room, but here is basically what I have.

Some Harry Connick, Jr. CDs A couple from my fave band, the Eagles All of Hilary Duff's solo albums 2 or 3 of Jennifer Love Hewitt's albums (not very good, but I just like her, ha) a couple of Britney Spears and Aguilera CDs, the first Lohan CD several Disney animated film soundtracks (such as The Little Mermaid, Mulan, Lion King, Hercules, Toy Story, Oliver and Co., Pocahontas, Hunchback, etc.) several movie soundtracks in general (Josie and the Pussycats, Tom and Huck, The Patriot, The Grinch, etc.) Some TV soundtracks (the Sailor Moon U.S. CDs, which I love, the Frasier soundtrack, etc.) a pre-special edition boxed set of the Star Wars trilogy soundtrack several Christmas CDs a couple of nature sounds Wolf CDs Some Weird Al stuff (Running With Scissors is awesome!) Some random stuff.

Basically, movie soundtracks, Disney, The Eagles, Weird Al, and Harry Connick Jr. Are favorites of mine. I also have favorites that I still only have on cassette, like Elton John, Billy Joel, and a lot of my fave soundtracks. I also love country music (from when it was popular, like Dwight Yoakem, George Straight, and Garth Brooks stuff), yet I hardly have any country albums (not even of those guys). I guess, as much as I love music, I consider CDs to be too expensive.
