My fridge model SJP65MHL has a problem of ice chunks forming at the top and bottom of the freezer, the one at the top looks like stalactite and the one at the bottom looked like it formed from melted water dripping from the top. Upon closer inspection of the fridge, I found that the door of the fridge (not freezer) could not close tightly as it has sagged and there is a small gap between the rubber lining and the fridge. I believe this caused the problem in the freezer. If the door hinge is the problem, can it be repaired or replaced and if so what are the charges. I am in PJ Damansara area.
Thanks and regards James Tan.
Where can I find my model number? All Sharp products have a model number stated on them, some in more than one place.
The model number can be found on the original box the item was purchased in, on the product manual, and on the product in the locations described below. All products state “Model:” followed by the model number. Helpful tip: For convenience, if you have a digital camera or smart phone, you may want to take a digital photo of the model number.
TV On the back of the TV on a sticker that shows a bar code and serial number. This sticker may be on either the right or left side, depending on the model; but is normally located in the lower half of the back of the TV. The model number may also be visible on the side of the TV panel.
2014-11-5 On Sharp's site, I discovered a user manual for the 2012 TVs and it includes commands to do anything the remote can! I now have a 2012 model (returned my 2011 Sharp 735u), and I'm working on a module for my home automation system to use the commands. Didn't find the answer you need? You can contact us any time.
