It was designed with the student in mind, but can be a useful reference for a professional scientist or a teacher. This log does indeed not help. Could you try to start the config tool and then check whether there are any application events logged in the event viewer of Windows (in German: Ereignisanzeige). Open the Windows start menu, type 'Event Viewer' / 'Ereignisanzeige' and then look under 'Windows Logs' -> 'Application' and see whether there are any errors or warnings logged for the time you started the config tool. If there is something, it would be great if you could post it here. If there is nothing, you could try to re-install SEB and see whether that resolves the problem or use another version (2.1.5. Or the preview version of 2.2).

Hi Andreas Thanks for the information. Unfortunately, this is only a rather generic error log revealing that an unhandled exception had occurred in the config tool. Could it be that there is another error message in the event log, ideally with a stacktrace which reveals the exact origin of the exception? Otherwise, I'm afraid we can't do much if we don't know what the exact cause of the problem is.
